HERE'S WHAT'S HAPPENING

The Food Pantry Program
is one service that is constantly being utilized. Expansion of this program has taken place and we now supply food bags for the clients to assemble themselves. CAST is always looking for volunteers for our food pantry. Various tasks include: Picking up non-perishables from local supermarkets, rotating canned goods for expiration dates. If interested please call Phyllis Atkins at 477-1788.

                                                                           FOOD PANTRY HOURS
                                                                              MONDAY & FRIDAY
                                                                                        9am - 12pm
                                                                                          TUESDAY
                                                                                          3pm - 5pm

Another program that began recently is our ESL Course. Learning the English language is something that is considered essential for many of our CAST clients. With the Hispanic population increasing, the need for an English as a Second Language Course (ESL) has become more apparent. Classes are every Wednesday from 6pm - 7:30pm.

Trying to save money is a goal I think everyone tries to achieve.  CAST Coupon Clippers will help you do that with their thrifty ideas, and money saving coupons! “Not using coupons is like throwing away money.”

CAST will be featuring many more new programs to come. These will include: Senior Citizen Activities, Tutorial Assistance, and Storytelling for children.  CAST is trying to meet the needs of every generation and ethnicity in Southold Town.  If you would like to volunteer for some of these festivities, please contact the office at 477-1717.
