Community Action of Southold Town, Inc. (C.A.S.T., Inc.) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in 1965 to help low-income residents meet their basic needs in the areas of nutrition, employment, energy, health, housing and education.

C.A.S.T., Inc. has become a safety net for hundreds in the local community and has developed many programs and services to meet their needs. C.A.S.T., Inc. provides services to the residents of Orient, East Marion, Greenport, Southold, Peconic, Cutchogue, New Suffolk, Mattituck and Laurel, all located in Suffolk County on the North Fork of Long Island.

C.A.S.T., Inc. is a vital organization thanks to our active Board of Directors, committed and energetic staff, generous donors and talented volunteers.

CALLING ALL VENDORS!!!! Are you looking for a place to sell your wares and crafts this holiday season? Cast is seeking vendors for our upcoming Holiday Happening Event on December 6, 2008 from 9:30am to 5:00pm at the Southold Town Recreation Center (located on Peconic Lane in Peconic, NY.). There is no admission charge for this event.

The event will feature a wide variety of vendors as well as a photo with Santa, cafe' serving light fare, a bake sale, train display, face painting, and a special raffle featuring creatively decorated table top trees and baskets filled by local merchants. The event truly offers "something for everyone".

Please call the CAST office at 477-1717 to reserve a vendor spot today and support the "good work" of our organization!
