Community Action Southold Town, Inc. (CAST, Inc.) is a 501C3 not-for-profit, organization incorporated in 1965 to help low-income residents meet their basic needs in the areas of nutrition, employment, energy, health, housing and education.
CAST, Inc. has become a safety net for hundreds of families and individuals in the local community and has developed many programs and services to meet their needs. Our experienced staff can help individuals navigate governments agencies and entitlements as well make referrals to many partnership agencies throughout Long Island. CAST, Inc. provides services to the residents of Southold Town, located on the North Fork of Long Island, and includes the hamlets of Orient, East Marion, Greenport, Southold, Peconic, Cutchogue, New Suffolk, Mattituck and Laurel. CAST, Inc. is a vital organization thanks to our active Board of Directors, committed and energetic staff, generous donors and talented volunteers.
It is our mission to promote self-sufficiency and provide a safety net for Southold Town residents in need.
